Wm. S. Haynes Piccolo #38567. Grenadilla wood body, with silver keys. This vintage “Golden Age” Haynes Piccolo has had a long working life in Broadway orchestras, numerous recordings, and kept very busy in an all-around freelancer’s career. Steady pitch, warm palette, extremely easy third register. A great piccolo at a reasonable price point. Pitched at A=440, made in 1970.
