Verne Q Powell Flute #6326, Handmade, Soldered Tone Holes, .014 Tubing Thickness, C foot, C# Trill, D# Roller, Offset G, Split E. Additional Powell Silver B foot (built in 2006) Pitched at A=440. Made in 1983.

The warm, full and rich sound of this flute is the classic Vintage Powell sound. It has had a great history: played in Broadway shows, on countless recordings, in orchestral and chamber music settings…great in both the Principal Flute chair, or blending well in a section.

We have known this flute at Your Flute Works – brought to us for servicing over many decades – so we can vouch for its stability and upkeep. Traditional pads were installed in our latest overhaul, after which it got very little use. The pads and the flute are in excellent condition!
