At the nexus of culture, nature and Spirit, my soul lives in a state of wonder. I have witnessed the Forces of Nature at work in places like Cuba, Brazil, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Yonkers and in Harlem, where I have found my home in many, many hearts.

The presence of ancestors in my work reflects my capacity to transcend the here and now, and hear whispers of timeless guidance. These extraordinary energies guide me in my aesthetic, my activism and my aliveness in the world.
