Built in 1996, this Altus is exceptional. With a clarity and warmth that are fused in the colorful tonal palette, the sole owner meticulously cared for it as they used it throughout their active professional career.

The great dynamic range, quick articulation and consistency throughout all the octaves make for an ease of playing, but the tonal complexity gives the assurance there is always more to be found in the sound.

In excellent condition, with no dings, dents or scratches. The traditional pads are in very good, used, conditions – and won’t require replacement for a number of years to come.

The Brannen Key Extensions are useful for anyone with hand or wrist problems, or for players with small hands. They are not a required part of the ‘package’ – and the reduced cost without them is reflected in our pricing.

Note: The Brannen Key Extensions are easily and completely removable by us. (They consist of plugs for right and left hand open-hole keys, and an attachment to extend the G# lever).
